We are strongly committed to making the practice of breastfeeding normal again in our society. Through political advocacy, breastfeedingisnormal.org promotes government support and protection of breastfeeding mothers and their children. Through education and peer-to-peer support, breastfeedingisnormal.org promotes healthy alternatives to formula use, encourages new mothers to begin and continue breastfeeding, and gives mothers the confidence to nurse their children in public.

Without a million dollar ad campaign, breastfeeding activism falls short in the war for new mothers' attention to infant feeding. But there is something YOU can do to promote breastfeeding no matter where you live. This site is designed to aid any mother no matter in being an advocate.
